About UUSDN
The members of the Unitarian Universalist Spiritual Direction Network are professionals in spiritual direction. We are ordained and lay ministers who have earned credentials through formal spiritual direction training programs. We expect our members to adhere to the ethical guidelines for Spiritual Direction and to be a member of (at least one of) the UU Ministers Association (UUMA)/ the Unitarian Universalist Society for Community Ministries (UUSCM)/ Liberal Religious Educators Association (LREDA)/ the Association for Unitarian Universalist Music Ministries (AUUMM).
The Unitarian Universalist Spiritual Direction Network is an all-volunteer network of UU spiritual directors and companions, lay and clergy. All network members have received training in spiritual direction, are members of a UU professional organization, and receive supervision.
The purposes of the Network are:
- Maintain a listing of UU Spiritual Directors for seekers
- Mutual support and collegiality among UU spiritual directors/companions
- Guide UU clergy and laity considering a spiritual direction vocation
Please contact us for any questions.
